Renowned Canary Mugume, an investigative journalist with NBS Television, has been appointed moderator for the Uganda Health and Business Expo UK 2026.
According to details released by the organisers, Mugume will moderate the event alongside Denis Mugagga.
The expo is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, in London and is expected to attract business leaders, healthcare professionals, investors and members of the Ugandan diaspora.
Main exhibition and conference activities will be hosted at One Birdcage Walk in Westminster, while a cancer awareness run is planned at New River Sports Centre in Wood Green.
Organisers say the expo aims to unlock “new health and business opportunities” while strengthening ties between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
The event will feature panel discussions, exhibitions and networking sessions focusing on partnerships, investment and business growth.
Mugume, widely known for his investigative reporting and moderation of public affairs discussions on Ugandan television, is expected to lead key conversations during the expo alongside Mugagga, whose background is rooted in community development and leadership.
The Uganda Health and Business Expo UK has in recent years positioned itself as a platform linking Ugandan enterprises and professionals to international markets, particularly within the diaspora community.
